Study Of Curative Herbs As Substitute for Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
Meena Jha, Asita Elengoe
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8901
Abstract: Health and disease are two terms we daily come across and we know the importance of good health. Various biochemical reactions are continuously going inside the human body to repair, rejuvenate, refresh and heal our body from the cellular level. It has been observed that nowadays due to tech-savvy lifestyle and to get immediate result people are more dependent on medicines to remain fit. No doubt, medicines give quick relief but we can not ignore & deny side effects caused after consuming them. Acetaminophen is a drug worldwide used by people as a pain killer, to reduce pain and fever and is easily available in different names like Tylenol, Calpol, Panadol, and Dolo 650 Tablet. Prolong, overdose, or regular use of Acetaminophen may be poisonous and results in chronic effects like anemia, may cause dizziness, skin pallor, light-headedness, fast heartbeat, and may even damage to liver & kidneys. Very less is known about its pharmacodynamics. Medicinal plants contain particular alkaloids with bioactive compounds which are beneficial for mankind for treating many diseases without causing any harm to our vital organs and they are the ray of hope amidst pandemic time too. Tulsi, Ginger, Turmeric, Neem are easily available everywhere and hence can be used as an effective substitute for Acetaminophen. The study is conducted on rural tribal people of Uttarakhand India. A total of one hundred sixteen respondents were questioned and it was analyzed that 55.2% of people understand that too much use of paracetamol for extended periods can damage the liver. 45.7% of people have used plant-based medications for the immediate cure of aches and pains instead of medicines. The study reveals that curative herbs are a better substitute because they possess antioxidants, antibacterial properties because of dissolved alkaloids in them. This study is based on current knowledge of Science and can be easily implementable.

An Application of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) using XRF data to delineate the continetality factor over beach sediments from Vengurla, West Coast, Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra, India
Praveen Gawali*, Satish Sangode, Milind Herlekar, Prafull Kamble
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8902
Abstract: We present here a novel approach of PCA to delineate the oceanic versus continental influence during pre-, mid and post monsoon seasons (PRM, MON, POM) over beach sedimentation at Vengurla along the west coast of India in Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra.PCA conducted over the XRF elemental results from 2003-2004 indicate a factor loading F1 for 2003 depicting predominant 'oceanic detrital' process and F2 as 'continental weathering' process. F1 for 2004 indicated 'continental weathering' with subdued 'oceanic detrital' process. F1 for the MON 2003 indicate 'continental detrital' process, and F2 subdued 'continental weathering' process. F1 for 2004 reveals 'continental detrital' and F2 'continental weathering' process. The overwhelming impact of monsoon can be inferred from this correlation. F1 for 2003 and 2004 POM as well can be assigned to 'continental detrital' process, and F2 to subdued 'continental weathering' process. The geochemical changes at Vengurla are season dependent, wherein hinterland is drained by monsoonal precipitation. The factor loading approach on mineral magnetic and geochemical data thus presents a precise semiquantitative method to delineate the continental and oceanic influence on the beach placers.

Phaneesh U, H Prasanna Kumar
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8903
Abstract: In many countries, considering majorly in underdeveloped and developing countries proper health care service is a vital concern. When compared to the requirement of the people, the health centers are far and even the medical personnel are deficient. This reason has made health services for the people who are unhealthy and need health monitoring on regular basis likely to impossible way. This has led the health monitoring of healthy people left far more behind. It is always desirable to implement some system to solve this issue, so that the citizens will not be deprived of the primary care. Smart Healthcare will be significant for the people who have to undergo continuous monitoring, which is not possible to provide outside hospitals. It is also important that the nearby clinics at rural areas or villages, can be in touch with city hospitals, where they can get about their patient's health condition. This current work presents the smart health monitoring system that uses biomedical sensors to the check patient's condition, and it uses internet to inform the concerned. The biomedical sensors used here are connected to Arduino UNO controller to read the data which in turn is interfaced to an LCD display/serial monitor to see the output.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8904
Abstract: This paper shows the controller design of a non-linear system. The Non-linear system we took up for the analysing is the Two Tank Interacting Conical System. The controller design is obtained in two parts: first a decoupling matrix is designed in order to minimize the interaction effects. Later, the controller design is obtained for both process and Decoupler block. Our aim is to meet the design specifications for each loop independently. So, we are using De-Centralized PID Controller. Simulation is made to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method using MATLAB software Keywords-Multi-loop PID Controller, Relative Gain Array, Decentralized controller, Two Tank Conical Interacting System, Decoupling.

Modernization, Coir Worker & the Labour; a Case of Work Alienation
Mr. Pratheesh. P
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8905
Abstract: The coir industry in Kerala has changed its nature and structure of work after 1990's when the industry enhanced efficiency through modernization. In the traditional mode of production, the worker himself was engaged in each aspect of coir production; from coir fiber extraction to the manufacturing of varied value added products using coir yarn. But modernization brings division of labour (Capitalist Mode of Production) in its fullest extent and specialization alienated the worker from the labour. Because of modernization and resultant changes, the workers lost 'the ability to determine life and destiny when deprived of the right to think (conceive) of themselves as the director of their own actions; to define relationships with other people and to own those items of value from goods and services, produced by their own labour'. Here, the workers are alienated from their labour. Mechanization and modern division of labour totally reduced the role of coir worker to a mere facilitator for machines.

Measurement of Thermal Resistivity of Dune Sand Using a Field Thermal Probe
Ar. Priyanka Mehta, Dr.Pulkit Gupta, Ar. Anshu Agarwal, Dr. Rajesh Sharma
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8906
Abstract: Estimation of soil thermal resistivity plays an important role for various engineering projects. Thermal resistivity of soil is a complex phenomenon that depends upon various parameters such as type of soil, particle size distribution, and compaction characteristics etc. Many researchers and investigators have tried to develop mathematical and theoretical models to estimate soil thermal resistivity. However, these models are not always capable of predicting thermal resistivity of soils. A laboratory thermal probe was fabricated to evaluate thermal resistivity of various soils. However, as natural soil consists of various size fractions ranging from clay to gravel, the laboratory thermal probe cannot be used very efficiently. This necessitated the fabrication of a field thermal probe that works on the principle of transient method and is a magnified version of the laboratory thermal probe. Based on the results obtained efforts have been made to develop generalized relationships for estimating the soil thermal resistivity of dune sand by knowing the dry density, moisture content and percent size fraction of the various particle sizes, and validation of the proposed generalized equations have been done with the results available in the literature.

The politics of the environment in India:A preliminary study
Monika Yadav
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8907
Abstract: Environmental concerns originated as a result of the massive social changes that happened in the United States following World War II. While environmentalism has a long history, and it wasn't until after World War II that it has become a widely recognised social issue. This began with outdoor recreation in the 1950s, grew into the wider field of natural resource preservation, and then became integrated with efforts to combat air as well as water pollution, and later hazardous chemical contaminants. Just after Cold War, the environment became a major priority for scholarly analysis, not just because scholars were concerned about conservation, pollution, and resource depletion, but that's because there are intriguing technical puzzles surrounding how the international system should address them as well as the effects that occur from the implementation of novel forms of governance, organizations, and agencies. Social demonstrations and opposing organisations have sprung up in response to India's looming ecological catastrophe, often at the grassroots level. Chipko's attempts to preserve mountain forests have garnered worldwide media attention, as has widespread opposition to the Narmada Dam project. They are signs of growing grass-roots political opposition. They are, according to Madhav Gadgil and Ramachandra Guha, the most visible instances of environmental political activity in India.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8909
Abstract: Increased usage of heavy metals for industrial activities has resulted in an increased concentration of these metals in waste water. Presence of heavy metals in wastewater is of great interest because of their known toxic effects on the nearby environment. In this study, the removal of cadmium (II) ions from an aqueous solution using Methylglycinediacetic acid (MGDA) modified pericarp of Gossypium herbaceum L. as a green adsorbent, in batch condition was investigated. The equilibrium studies were systematically carried out in a batch process which covered a various process parameter inclusive of pH, contact time, temperature, adsorbent dose, agitation rate and initial ion concentration. The adsorption equilibrium data were adequately characterized by Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and DKR isotherm models. Best fitting isotherm models were in the following order, Langmuir (R2 = 0.9996) > Freundlich (R2 = 0.9974) > Temkin (R2 = 0.9637) > DKR (R2 = 0.899). The adsorption kinetics was found to follow pseudo-second-order rate kinetic model. Thermodynamic study confirmed that the biosorption process was endothermic, spontaneous and proceeded with increased randomness. All results showed that the MGDA modified pericarp of Gossypium herbaceum L. is an alternative low-cost green adsorbent for removal of cadmium (II) ions from an aqueous solution.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8917
Abstract: Self awareness is important because when we have a better understanding of ourselves, we are able to experience ourselves as unique and separate individuals. We are then empowered to make changes and to build on our areas of strength as well as identify areas where we would like to make improvement. Using established tools and techniques will help you improve your approach to solving the problems that your team and your organization face. You'll be more successful at solving problems and, because of this, more successful at what you do. What's more, you'll begin to build a reputation as someone who can handle tough situations, in a wise and positive way. Good decision-making is an essential life skill most people acquire through trial and error. Few have had the benefit of formal training in decision making or are aware of decision science. Decision Skills utilize the tools of decision science to help us make better decisions, in part through recognizing and overcoming decision traps people commonly make. Decision making plays a vital role in the life of students. It diverts the students from falling into the trap that manages the students and saves their career life. It promotes self-determination on how to make good decisions and choices. Thinking skills are the mental activities you use to process information, make connections, make decisions, and create new ideas. You use your thinking skills when you try to make sense of experiences, solve problems, make decisions, ask questions, make plans, or organize information. Creative thinking refers to using abilities and soft skills to come up with new solutions to problems. Creative thinking skills are techniques used to look at the issue from different and creative angles, using the right tools to assess it and develop a plan. Time management skills are those that help you use your time effectively and achieve desired results. Time management skills can help you allocate your time properly and accomplish tasks efficiently. Some of the most important skills related to successful time management skills include. Stress is a mental reaction to our body experiences due to the demanding circumstance or event that requires immediate action and attention. This reaction initiates our nervous system to produce adrenaline and cortical hormone and release it in our blood system; gradually, it suppresses the functions of our immune, digestive and reproductive system. That is why it becomes essential to handle our stress level effectively to keep ourselves physically and mentally fit.

Wellness is the holistic approach of physical mental, social, emotional and spiritual fitness. We have to work on this beautiful life by taking little steps. These small steps can make our planet healthy. Many people think that investing in gyms and use of other sports instruments will make them fit and healthy. Consuming balanced diet rich in fruits vegetables can ward off many diseases. A healthy and positive lifestyle increases the longevity of human beings. But due to tech-savvy life we all need immediate results for curing ourselves so nowadays people are more dependent on medications for remaining healthy. Its true that medicines give instant cure but we should not overlook or ignore the side effects of these synthetic medications. Paracetamol is renowned painkiller used by people worldwide to cure aches and pains. It is available in various brand names like Calpol, Tylenol, Dolo 650 etc. Regular or prolong use may result in dizziness, fast heartbeat and may even results in liver toxicity. Most of us are totally unaware of pharmacodynamics of Paracetamol. So people consume it even without prescription by physicians. Ethnomedicinal plants are easily available and contribute in our well-being as they contain specific bioactive compounds, dissolved alkaloids and are eco-friendly, biodegradable and easier to use. Since ancient times they are used for treating diseases and many chronic ailments. Black Pepper, Ginger, Basil, Mint, Fenugreek, Green Tea leaves, Turmeric, Eucalyptus, Lemon Grass etc are ethnomedicinal plants which can easily overcome Paracetamol toxicity. This study is conducted on rural people of South India. Out of 116 respondents 55.2% of people believed that prolonged usage of Paracetamol may result into liver toxicity whereas 45.7% of rural people are using plant based medications like roots, rhizomes, juices of flowers to cure fever, aches and pains. But latest study also reveals that Industrial revolution, deforestation, desertification has polluted and damaged environment.1.6 billion people are dependents on forests 74% people are affected due to land degradation. Sustainable management is compulsory. Forest management is necessary by planting and saving biodiversity. Working with endogenous people and local community can help us to switch over to plant based medications. We all should affirm that each one should plant one. We need to think globally for saving lives. Saving endangered plants and animals are very important for all of us. Insects, birds are pollinators which help to grow many medicinal plants. Birds and animals droppings helps in seed dispersal. Example cutting of strings of facemask before disposal can help to reduce fatality of birds. These strings coils in beaks and wings of birds which is actually harming birds. Let's be a change maker and protect our flora and fauna. Reiteration of good deeds is needed for all practices. Celebration of Tree Plantation, or birthday of Trees is must to save ecosystem. Let's together protect, promote and restore this planets plants and biodiversity. By sustainably managing wildlife and conservation of forests and medicinal plants, by combatting habitat loss, stopping desertification and reversing land degradation we can put a full stop to biodiversity loss. The study shows that proper use of ethnomedicinal plants can overcome Paracetamol toxicity because plants possess effective antioxidants and important alkaloids in them. We need to promote awareness from local folklore to global sectors for the effective usage of plants. This is scientific study based on experimentation and application which should help everyone across the countries for maintaining health. Indeed education can make differences and has the power to transform our lives.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8937
Abstract: Second Language Learning has captured the minds of youngsters as it opens roads to different destinations. Learning English as a second language in particular has become a necessity. But, for most of the students from rural background, this is not as easy as it sounds. They face a lot of challenges during the course of learning English as a second language. Some students are under constant stress during this process, and according to the psychologists, the current pandemic scenario has increased the case of depression among students. This depression can also be attributed to some of the false ideas and notions that the students may have from negative influences. Sigmund Freud, a great neurologist and psychologist of his period, has come up with many strategies to overcome anxiety and depression, and these strategies can be used to overcome the anxiety and depression caused during language learning. As it is really important for students to have a positive mindset during language learning, teachers are in dire need to help students to develop positive attitude which can enhance the learning. The Penn Resiliency Program, which has its roots in Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis, can help students in effectively overcoming the anxiety and depression and travel towards productive language learning. In this Penn Resiliency Program, students are made to adapt coping skills of positive psychology as a counterbalance to the effects of anxiety and depression. In a classroom setting, the students should not be trained to deny the existence of problems, but they can be trained to complement it with positive ideas. With the help of positive psychology, students' attention and thinking can be broadened which can lead to new experiences and learning. It is the prime responsibility of teachers to have a good understanding of the psychological needs of the students and to inculcate in them positive attitude with the help of positive psychology.

Abrasive water jet Machining experimental investigation and CFD Flow analysis
David Raju kalavakuri, Eshwara Prasad Koorapati
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8958
Abstract: Abrasive Waterjet machining offers the potential for the development of a tool which is less sensitive to material properties, has virtually no thermal effects, and imposes minimal stresses. This method Abrasive water jet machining used industrially in 1983 for cutting of glass. Nowadays, this process is being widely used for machining of hard to machine materials like ceramics, ceramic composites, fiber- reinforced composites, and titanium alloys where conventional machining is often not technically or economically feasible. Different types of abrasives are used in AWJM like garnet, olivine, Aluminum oxide (Al2O3), silica sand, glass bead, silicon carbide (SIC), zirconium, etc. But a survey shows that 90% of the AWJM is done using garnet as an abrasive. The hardness of the abrasive particles is an important characteristic which strongly influences the cut geometry and that the depth of jet penetration depends strongly on the ratio of the hardness of the target material to the hardness of the abrasive. AWJM involves quite a few parameters that can affect the cutting performance like cutting parameters stand of distance, traverse speed, impact angle and number of passes. Hydraulic parameters like water pressure, orifice diameter, water Jet etc. The objective of this work is to evaluate and optimize Inlet Pressure of water, Velocity of water, Mass flow rate of water, Mass flow rate of abrasive particles, velocity of water abrasive mixture. Here we need to run analysis on fluid dynamics and flow characteristics using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which is a science that uses data structures to solve issues of fluid flow like velocity, density, and chemical compositions. Here in CFD analysis we need to run experimental investigation of the general nature of flow through the nozzle and its results in rapid wear of the nozzle which affects the cutting performance.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8959
Abstract: Diasporic writing has emerged into a distinct literary genre today. They are affected by the thought of homelessness. Their writings are dominated by a quest, a quest for identity, a quest for inner self and a search for a home. Since human beings have different set of mind, it is the cause for understanding and misunderstanding between individuals. It is no surprise that man and woman are always in a state of dissonance. Cognitive can be defined as the mental processes of perception, memory, judgment and reasoning. Dissonance means disagreement and incongruity. Dissonance and Consonance refer to relationships which exist between pairs in beliefs and hopes. When a person fails to comprehend a thing or a situation, he faces this mental problem. This paper aims to reveal in what degree the Dissonance is faced by the characters after their cultural displacement. and the quest of identity faced by the protagonist as revealed by the diasporic writers in their writing. In various situations we find their mental conflicts, which makes their live and partly live her life. This paper focuses on the construction of Cultural Displacement and the Quest for Identity in Amy Tan's novel The Bonesetter's Daughter and Teja Cole's Every Day's for the Thief. ANALYSIS OF BORDER GATEWAY PROTOCOL WITH VIRTUAL ROUTING AND FORWARDING INSTANCES USING GRAPHICAL NETWORK SIMULATOR
T.L.Kayathri, Dr.N.Kumaresan
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8966
Abstract: In general routing protocols are classified as Interior gateway routing protocols and Exterior gateway routing protocols. IGP mainly suffers from link failure, inefficient bandwidth, slow convergence rate for larger networks, and requirement of larger memory. To overcome the drawbacks of IGP we are moving for EGP which consists of e-BGP. BGP is mainly used for supporting edge customer services such as exterior routing. For transporting VPNv4 services across the customer sites BGP is mostly preferred in MPLS VPN networks. By using MPLS VPN services in BGP, it provides consistent end-to-end connectivity for the customers. Since the same routing protocol is used between the customer and the service provider networks there is no need to use the concept of redistribution. Thus in this paper BGP peering with MPLS VPN environment is preferred in two different networks. The first method is BGP PE-CE VPN sites implementing unique AS numbers and the second method is BGP PE-CE VPN sites implementing same AS numbers. These methods can be implemented using Graphical Network Simulator3 software tool.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8967
Abstract: Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) has been perceived as one of the significant microorganisms in both clinic and local area settings. In India, the percentage of nosocomial diseases brought about by MRSA fluctuates somewhere in the range of 20 and 40%.Conventional strategies for the identification of MRSA incorporate oxacillin disc diffusion, oxacillin MIC and oxacillin screen agar methods. In this study, Coagulase test is principally used to separate Staphylococcus aureus (positive) which produce the catalyst coagulase, from S. epidermis and S. saprophyticus (negative) which don't produce coagulase, for example Coagulase Negative Staphylococcus (CONS).For Antibiotic sensitivity test,Instead of methicillin disks, oxacillin, which has a place with a similar class (penicillinase-resistant penicillins), is preferred. These days, methicillin is neither utilized for treatment nor for testing of gram-positive microscopic organisms. Also, Oxacillin action permits a higher identification of heteroresistant strains than methicillin.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8970
Abstract: Aim of the research is to observe the millipede (Orthoporous ornatus) biology and its behavior. We have analyzed the soil samples to find out the soil nutrients level in control and experimental soil with pH, Macronutrients (N, P, K) and Organic Carbon. The current research was done in our college campus. Soil biodiversity reflects the mix of living organisms in the soil. These organisms interact with one another and with plants and small animals forming a web of biological activity. Soil is by far the most biologically diverse part of Earth. Most millipedes are slow-moving detritivores, eating decaying leaves and other dead plant matter. Some eat fungi or suck plant fluids, minority of them are predatory. Most millipedes defend themselves with a variety of chemicals secreted from pores along the body. There is revived focus on the once-neglected millipede for its use in composting and improvement of soil quality. Some of the millipedes are more efficient than the earthworms in this. About 270 species have been identified in India of which, at least 93 are from south India. The millipede shows favorable result in managing nutrients in experimental soil than control soil.

Apprehension of Choroidal Neovascularization using Image Processing
Mrs.B.Miriam Zipporah, Dr. D.F.X.Christopher
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8972
Abstract: "Neovascularization" means "new blood vessels." These new, anomalous blood vessels originate in the choroid, a vessel-containing layer under the retina. When the retinas of people with AMD produce too much vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), new blood vessels sprout from the choroid and then grow into the retina. The new vessels, unlike normal ones, are leaky, and they allow fluid from the blood, and sometimes even red blood cells, to enter the retina. This fluid can immediately distort the vision because it forms a "blister" in the retina, which is normally flat. Over the course of days to months, this fluid can harm the retina, killing the light-sensing cells, called photoreceptors. Objective: Image processing and the related imaging modalities is a very vast progressive upcoming field. Medical imaging is the approach used to acquire images of the body parts for medical uses which would be applicable in identifying or studying diseases. In this paper, we focus on its applications in the field of ophthalmology and retinal imaging where a review of a defect in the eye using image processing and the techniques available in it would help recognize the defective parts.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8974
Abstract: With advancement of technology things are becoming simpler and easier for us. Automation is the use of control systems and information technologies to reduce the need for human work in the production of goods and services. In the scope of industrialization, automation is a step beyond mechanization. Whereas mechanization provided human operators with machinery to assist them with the muscular requirements of work, automation greatly decreases the need for human sensory and mental requirements as well. Automation plays an increasingly important role in the world economy and in daily experience. Automatic systems are being preferred over manual system. Through this project we have tried to show automatic control of a house as a result of which power is saved to some extent. The past decade has seen significant advancement in the field of consumer electronics. Various "intelligent" appliances such as cellular phone, air conditioners, home security devices, home theatres, etc., are set to realize the concept of a smart home. They have given rise to a Personal Area Network in home environment, where all these appliances can be interconnected and monitored using a single controller. Home automation involves introducing a degree of computerized or automatic control to certain electrical and electronic systems in a building. These include lighting, temperature control, etc. This project demonstrates a simple home automation system which contains a remote mobile host controller and several client modules (home appliances). The client modules communicate with the host controller through a wireless device such as a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, in this case, an android based Smart phone.

Abstract: This study aims to examine the relationship between early maladaptive schemas, interpersonal relationship style, and psychological resilience. The sample of the research consists of 322(208women / 104 men) from Istanbul, Izmir, and Mugla provinces over the age of 18. Sociodemographic Data Sheet, The Young Schema Questionnaire 3 Short form, Interpersonal Relationship Scale, Psychological Resilience Scale were used as a data collection tool. For the application of data collection tools, The Sociodemographic data form, The young schema questionnaire 3 short form, the Interpersonal relationship scale, Psychological resilience scale has been transferred to Google Forms and have been selected by simple random sampling method. The descriptive statistical methods for the analysis of the obtained data, the t-test for the comparison of quantitative data, the Pearson correlation analysis for the relationship between the scale of research and the scale and continuous variable. According to the findings, it was found that a weak and positive relationship was found between the approval-seeking schema and the psychological resilience subdimensions. However, significant negative correlations were found with other schema domains. According to those, it was observed that emotional deprivation and imperfection subscales had a positive effect on the frustrative relationship style. The Approval-seeking subscale had a positive effect on the nurturing relationship style, and the imperfection, failure, and suppression of emotions subscales harmed the nurturing relationship styles.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8979
Abstract: In today's business environment, managing inventory effectively is crucial for the success of any organization, especially in industries where the efficiency and quick response of the supply chain are key. This document investigates how Apache Kafka, a well-known distributed streaming platform, can be integrated into inventory management systems. The main aim of this integration is to enhance communication with suppliers and improve the management of internal inventory processes. The capability of Kafka to stream data in real time presents a solid answer to the common problems faced by traditional inventory management systems, such as delays and inaccuracies in the processing and transmission of data. Utilizing Kafka enables businesses to coordinate and manage their inventory more effectively and responsively. This integration allows for immediate sharing and processing of data, which improves decision-making, increases the accuracy of inventory, and makes communication with suppliers more efficient. The paper thoroughly examines the methods of implementation, the challenges and solutions, and the real-world uses of Kafka in inventory management, offering an extensive overview of its transformative impact in this area. Integrating Kafka equips businesses not just to enhance their operational effectiveness but also to secure a competitive advantage in the fast-changing marketplace.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8980
Abstract: Virtualization is now a central part of modern IT infrastructure, offering better resource utilization, flexibility, and cost savings. However, one serious issue that comes with it is server sprawl. Server sprawl happens when too many virtual machines (VMs) are created without strong policies or proper management. Over time, this leads to a large number of unused or outdated VMs, many of which go unpatched or misconfigured. These neglected virtual machines increase the attack surface, making the entire system more vulnerable to cyberattacks. Server sprawl is not just a problem of wasted resources. It is a growing security threat. This paper explores the root causes of server sprawl in virtualized environments, the kinds of security risks it introduces, and practical ways to reduce these threats. Key strategies such as centralized VM governance, RBAC, hypervisor security, and automated patching are discussed. The paper also reviews past research, presents observations from real-world practices, and proposes directions for future improvements in managing server sprawl securely.
