Abstract: A crucial type of awareness in collaborative applications is group awareness, which refers to the information of the group and its members, such as their location, the tasks they develop, knowledge, interests, and feelings. To learn concepts related to group awareness, a training experience based on the model named Design-Based Learning was implemented. The goal of this work was to analyze the perception of Software Engineering students from the Autonomous University of Yucatan, Mexico, regarding the implementation of the experience using the mentioned model. The methodology used was exploratory, with a mixed approach through a case study. The results indicate a favorable perception of the students about their level of development of skills such as creativity, problem solving and organization for teamwork in the development of their solutions. As future work we intend to implement the model in several Software Engineering courses in order to measure its impact on student learning.

Abstract: In today's modern life, the demand on electricity is greater than the production of it. One of the biggest issues that has been realized is that natural resources are going to be finished one day and a replacement is to be found. In order to overcome such problems, the use of renewable energy sources is very important. Renewable energy sources such as wind and solar has gained commonness and command over the last few decades. The output of these sources depends on the weather conditions Hence if, there is a combination of two sources then the desirable electrical power can be produced. In this proposed work, the design model of hybrid power generation system uses wind and solar resources. This system can be implemented on highways where the tremendous amount of wind energy can be collected due to high-speed motion of vehicles and the solar energy from the sun will also be collected and further can be used to power up automatic lights and also to charge an electric vehicle.

Abstract: Harvesting energy from the environment responsibly is important. Conventional sources are depleting now a days so we are turning towards usage of renewable sources for various electrical applications. One of those most applications is lightening the streetlights. Hence our concept is to mimic the natural tree replacing the leaves as solar panels in all possible directions, electric power generated from those panels are fed into streetlights. Also, the system provides a power-saving mode of operation by adapting the method of automation. A dark sensor and a light sensor provides the automatic "ON"/"OFF" facility to the street lights so that it will glow automatically when it is required(i.e. when the surrounding will be dark) and will be turned "OFF" automatically if sufficient light is available in the surrounding.

FAKE PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION USING BLOCKCHAIN
Mrs. Thejaswini M S, Sahil Bassan, S Manjot Singh, Mohit Singh, Prakrit Basnet
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10118
Abstract: The manufacturing and marketing of counterfeit or duplicate products and goods leads to consequential financial, health and safety threat to end users. It also impacts on the economic growth of original manufacturers and businesses through revenue loss, product defamation, downtime, replacement expenses, forcing brands to spend money fighting counterfeits, trust among business partners can also be at risk, stealing sales etc. To overcome these crucial effects of counterfeiting, a blockchain based system is used in identification of original products and detects duplicate products to ensure the identification of original goods. In this work, with massive emerging trends in wireless technology, QR (Quick Response) codes and barcodes provides a robust technique to cut down the practice of counterfeiting the products. The fake products are detected using camera scanner, where QR or barcode of the product is linked toa blockchain in order to store product details and guaranteed unique code of each product as blocks in the database. If the code matches, the notification will be sent to the customer indicating the authenticity of the product and else if it does not match, a notification will be sent to customer that product is fake or counterfeited as well as to manufacturer about the place of purchase if customer accepts the request made by the application. This approach ensures that consumers won't completely rely on merchants to determine if products are original or forged Blockchain technology has opened the gate of creating decentralized applications, where security is a big concern. Here, any transaction ever held is recorded permanently. Over the years, some non-reputable sources have been publishing fake and attractive news stories. Due to the lack of any regulatory systems, this news cannot be verified. Hence, theseunreliable sources can publish whatever they want, and even in some cases, it makes chaos in society. In recent times due to the ease in internet availability and social media, inappropriate news can spread more quickly than ever before. In some cases, fake news is more attractive than the real one. Thus, people become misguided. Using the advantages of Blockchain\'s peer-to-peer network concepts, we will discuss a way to detect fake news in social media.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10120
Abstract: With the sharp increase in population and modernization of society, environmental pollution resulting from petroleum hydrocarbons has increased, resulting in an urgent need for remediation. Accidental release of petroleum products are of particular concern in the environment. Hydrocarbon components have been known to belong to the family of carcinogens and neurotoxic organic pollutants. Mechanical and chemical methods generally used to remove hydrocarbons from contaminated sites have limited effectiveness and can be expensive. Bioremediation is the promising technology for the treatment of these contaminated sites since it is cost - effective and will lead to complete mineralisation Bioremediation functions basically on biodegradation, which may refer to complete mineralization of organic contaminants into carbondioxide, water, inorganic compounds and cell protein or transformation of complex organic contaminanats to other simpler organic compounds by biological agents like microorganisms. Many indigenous microorganisms in water and soil are capable of degrading hydrocarbon contaminants. This chapter provides an overview of the recent literature to the usage of bacteria as biodegraders, discusses barriers regarding the implementation of this microbial technology, and provides suggestions for further developments.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10121
Abstract: Machine learning is a set of algorithms and statistical models that computers use to perform required tasks. Machine learning can be used in many applications such as face detection, voice recognition, medical diagnosis, mathematical reasoning, traffic prediction, etc. The traffic area includes everything that can affect the traffic on the road, whether it is a traffic light, an accident, an assembly or even a road repair that can lead to a traffic stop. If we first get information close to all of the above and many daily situations that can affect the road, the driver or passenger can make a smart decision. It also contributes to the future of cars. In recent decades, traffic data has been generated extensively and we have moved to a big data concept for transportation. Brilliant visitor forecasting uses a few types of site visitor forecasting and they are still not good enough to meet real world applications. It is tedious to understand the correct direction of the road because the information available for the transport system is very complex. In this work, we have planned to use machine learning, genetics, soft computing and deep learning algorithms to analyze the big data of transportation system with a big reduction of complexity. In addition, image processing algorithms participate in traffic sign recognition, which helps in the proper training of autonomous vehicles. In the economic years, GPS Mobility has become popular in large cities to determine the percentage of traffic that uses central traffic management - distribution. The collected data can be used to build an idea that shows the current traffic in the city and can be used in the future to predict the traffic and the summary can be done.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10123
Abstract: The suggested study places particular emphasis on the difficulty of power transfer. Because wireless power transfer eliminates the requirement for a line for the transmission of electricity, this technique allows us to reduce complexity. Comparing this process to other systems can increase proficiency, reduce energy crisis, and lessen power loss. Wires are never used in wireless power transmission, therefore mishaps and electric shocks in the home are reduced. Instead than using cables to transmit power, this technology makes use of RF antenna.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10124
Abstract: In urban areas the water supply to residence and commercial establishments are provided at a fixed flow rate. There are incidents of excess water needed by certain customers/users. In this project it is proposed to develop an embedded based remote water monitoring by recording the flow rates at the consumer/user end. In order to implement the proposed water supply system, each consumer end should be provided with an embedded based water flow monitoring system consisting of a microcontroller to record the flow rate using a flow sensor and it is also provided with an electrically operated solenoid valve to supply water to the consumers. It is proposed to employ a NodeMCU MODEM so that if the water reaches the Threshold value message will be delivered saying that water bill has been generated.

Individuals working together in an organization to earn their bread and butter as well as make profits are called employees. Employees are the lifeline of an organization and contribute effectively to its successful running and profit making. An organization cannot survive if the employees are not serious about it and are more concerned about their personal interests. In this era of hyperactive environment, the formulation and implementation of traditional human resource management (HRM) strategies and practices are not enough to retain talented workforce. Employee retention is considered as the heart of organizational successPeople have grown more demanding with respect to their jobs and duties. The basic aim of employee retention strategies and practices is twofold within the organizations. One is to reduce employee turnover and, second, to considerably reduce the associated expenses of hiring and training and orientation of the new employees. Abstract: This paper exposes the contamination problem of the interior bay of Lake Titicaca in the city of Puno. The objectives of the research were: (1) Determine the average willingness to pay (DAP) on the part of the citizens of Puno for an improvement in the quality of the water of the contaminated bay, Propose a solution to the problem, establishing how this willingness could be captured to pay and what percentage this is of the average monthly sewerage payment. Data from a survey with a referendum-type format was used and the contingent valuation method was applied to determine the willingness to pay (DAP) for a change in water quality through the expansion and improvement of the current wastewater treatment plant. (construction of new lagoons). An average DAP of S/. 8.20/family/month, this is higher than the average monthly payment for sewerage for domestic use, which is S/. 7.91/month and therefore the DAP is greater than 100% of the average monthly payment for sewerage, for which it is convenient to capture this DAP in a payment vehicle expressed in an increase in the water rate.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10129
Abstract: The granitic gneisses of the Swarnagadde plateau located on the southwestern margin of Uttar Kannada district forming a basement complex of peninsular gneiss, have been examined in the field, mapped and interpreted on the basis of petrological and geochemical data. This was meant to categorize the rocks and to understand the tectonic setting in order to evaluate the crustal evolution. The chemical analyses were done using inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometer. From the results obtained, the major element contents of granitic gneisses reflect their fairly homogeneous composition. Mineralogy of rock is dominated by plagioclase (49-62%), quartz (29-42%), K-feldspar (1-5%) and /or hornblende is in decreasing order. The granitic gneisses formed from medium to low grade metamorphism of granite and granodiorite witnessed at a late stage in the Precambrian records of the area. Tectonically most of the rock samples plotted in the field of volcanic arc granite+Syn-collisional granite rocks, which indicated that the protolith granite and granodiorite are volcanic arc magmas predominantly post orogenic development in island-arc to continental and collision zone.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10135
Abstract: In many countries over a century ago, water hyacinth was offered as a lavish harvest due to its attractive appearance and aesthetic appeal. Tragically, due of their adaptability to a variety of crisp water ecological communities and their resistance to human activity, the blooms developed into invasive species. They were viewed as an alternative to petroleum derivatives in the twenty-first century, with the same number of experts finding them capable of converting their substance into fuel energy at a lower cost and regarded as an environmentally friendly product. Given that water hyacinths are among the group of plants that grow the fastest, their biomass may one day replace conventional petroleum derivatives as a source of sustainable energy, probably within the next 10 years. This is a fundamental task to overcome the depletion of energy supplies and, in addition, to satiate the growing demand for energy around the world. The dried biomass can also be made into briquettes, which are suitable for use as co-terminating operators in coal control plants, rather than fuel energy. Future compacted biomass buildups delivered as briquettes may reduce the reliance on coal to provide more energy. Another use of water hyacinth as a co-manure material, such as soil improvement for sandy soil, can improve hydro-physical, concoction parameters of soil and will provide the growing yields with some supplements. Because of its ability to bioremediate, or remove poisons from home and modern waste water effluents, water hyacinth has also received attention. As a result, the water hyacinth problem needs to be evaluated from a variety of perspectives, including ecological, building, and vitality. In this study, potential uses for water hyacinth are organised and discussed.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10136
Abstract: Food adulteration is a serious issue plaguing the health and safety of many individuals. It is the process of deliberately changing, adding, or removing a food ingredient without the consumer being aware, thus altering the nutritional value of the product. It can occur on purpose or inadvertently due to poor hygiene, and can greatly increase the likelihood of serious illnesses such as food poisoning and more. Furthermore, food adulteration can occur through the use of substandard ingredients. For example, many food manufacturers are known to use lower quality ingredients in order to cut costs, leading to compromised nutritional values and taste. Though food adulteration can be difficult to detect, there are some telltale signs of adulterated food. Food that has been adulterated may smell strange or have an unusual taste, colour, or texture. Additionally, food labels should alert consumers to the presence of unhealthy additives, expired ingredients, and other dangerous components. In conclusion, food adulteration is a serious issue that affects both the health and safety of individuals as well as the quality of food products. While it can be difficult to detect, understanding the signs of adulteration can help consumers stay aware and make healthy choices when purchasing food items.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10137
Abstract: The technique of passport verification which is currently used in the airports involves manual checking and it is time consuming. Another major issue with the conventional paper passport is that, it can be forged or duplicated easily. The proposed system consists of two level of authentication. In the first level of authentication, the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) module is used which involves both RFID tag and RFID reader. The second level of authentication is the face recognition. In this the passport holder's face is captured and is verified. The two levels of authentication increase the level of security and safety. This system is proposed in order to decrease the duplicating of the passports which leads to various illegal activities. Also, the verification duration is reduced with the use of e-passport. The face recognition is implemented which increase the efficiency of the e-passport. The technologies such as RFID, IoT and face recognition can be used effectively to replace paper passports by portable e-passports.
