The influence of sizing aging on the mechanical properties of epoxy-based carbon fiber composites

Abstract: The choice of type and quantity of sizing on the carbon fiber influences the wetting behavior and the strength of adhesion between fiber/sizing and resin. Here we investigate the influence of size aging on the adhesion between composite layers, through a measurement of Tensile Modulus.
