EMOTIONAL MATURITY AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT OF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract: The present study examines the emotional maturity and personality development of senior secondary school students. The sample comprises of 200 students (100 male and 100 female) from Patna district of Bihar. Self -constructed and validated tool on emotional maturity and personality development was used for the study. The data was analysed using 't' test. The results indicated that there is significant difference between male and female senior secondary school students in emotional maturity. There is no significant difference between urban and rural senior secondary school students in the level of emotional maturity. There is no significant difference between male and female senior secondary school students in the level of personality development but there is significant difference between urban and rural senior secondary school students in the level of personality development.
