DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8303
Abstract: The diaraland are situated between the natural levies are subjected in undated for different periods, periodically eroded and formed by meandering, braiding and course changing of river. There is time gap scarcity for the land preparation and sowing of wheat because of very less time available between post Flood and sowing wheat under rainfed condition. Therefore, it is essential to conserve the residual moisture for better plant growth and yield. Keeping in view the above facts, eight different treatments comprising tillage and mulch were studied over years under saryu diara rainfed eco-System. Studies reveal that the maximum grain yield 6.134 q/ha and maximum moisture use efficiency (MUE) of 4.146 kg/ha-mm were obtained in the treatment land preparation by rotavating twice with power tiller each followed by planking and sowing behind country plough + application of dry grass mulches e 4q/ha, 21 days after sowing. This technique may increase the sustained wheat production in diaraland under soil moisture stress and drought condition. Diaralands are defined as land situated between the natural levies of major river systems which get periodically eroded and formed due to meandering, braiding and coarse changing of the river. Characteristically diaralands are prove to floods during the mousoon and moisture stress during pre and post flood periods, as irrigation facility does not exist or neglegible in this areas. The winter and summer seasons crops are raised on residual moisture and very often moisture stress reduces crop yield because there is no assured irrigation (hardly 3-10% area is irrigated). Keeping in view the above facts, the present study was conducted to evaluate suitable soil moisture conservation techniques for obtaining higher yields.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8311
Abstract: As the world sees increase in the use of antibiotics to reach the market demands, the dependence of man and animals on antimicrobials have tremendously increased leading to an antimicrobial resistance crisis across the globe. Considered as one of the major public health issues and a global threat to man and animals, antimicrobial resistance is widely now talked about as a one health and one world issue. Use of Antimicrobials has seen its importance in the animal sector not just at therapeutic doses against diseases but also at sub-therapeutic doses as Antimicrobial Growth Promoters (AGPs) for production animals. Resistance of microorganisms to antimicrobials is a major challenge as more and more resistant strains of microbes have evolved. To visualize how the problem of antibiotic resistance might best be addressed, an understanding about what it is and its mechanism is necessary. Solutions can then be drawn and implemented as soon as possible because the time is crucial and the work is vast.

B. SASIDHAR
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8312
Abstract: Improving employee productivity is one of the greatest challenges in today's business environment. Productivity is the measurement of relationship between the input and output. It is considered to be improved when there is an increase in the output with minimal changes or no changes in the input. There is a general myth that wages are considered to be the primary factor to influence employee productivity. However it is very important to understand the various factors that influence productivity from different perspectives. This research paper is focused on identifying the significant factors that influence employee productivity. The study was made in the garment sector and in specific to the Tirupur garment factories that contribute to about 80% of the country's export in this sector. It is still a developing district in terms of garments manufacturing, which is considered to be the knitting hub by means of exporting garments to countries including Europe, Middle East and Latin America. The study has imbibed a thorough literature review on factors influencing productivity and intends to measure the target in terms of both metric and non-metric variables. The employee revenue, skill, experience and nature of job are few of the non-metric variables included in the study to examine their impact on productivity. The metric variables were derived from literature search and consolidated into environmental factors, organizational factors including work policies, interpersonal and team influences and personal factors which are measured on a 5 point Likert scale. The paper aims in identifying the level of impact of these four variables on productivity using regression analysis; as well as to identify the key aspects under these four metrics, that have a specific impact on employee productivity using discriminant analysis.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8319
Abstract: We often read in the news that people and animals in remote areas have died as a result of electrical shock or in rural fields, as a result of interaction with damaged and dangling live power lines. Since the Delivery Company's safety circuitry is ineffective, the line remains live with broken wires. Wire break detection and a power supply breaking mechanism are defined in this modification to the current power distribution system. A circuit breaker with a shunt trip mechanism interrupts the supply and protects the system from damage due to overhead transmission line conductor breakage issues, resulting in electrical accidents. We use a variety of communication devices to keep track of the number of voltages that are transmitted from one segment to the next.

The standard was first published by the ETSI in 1994, and subsequently became the most widely used transmission system for digital cable television in Europe. The operation starts when video, audio, and data streams are multiplexed into MPEG-2 transport stream. The MPEG-TS is identified as a sequence of data packets, of fixed length (188 bytes). A first level of protection is then applied to the transmitted data, using a non-binary block code, a Reed-Solomon RS (204, 188) code, allowing the correction of up to a maximum of 8 wrong bytes for each 188-byte packet. Though there are many virtues of implementing DVB-C system, there are many shortcomings too of the same which cannot be neglected. The very first limitation and an important one too, is in the form of bit error rates supported by it. They are limited and not compatible with the existing and rapidly changing wireless standards. For the transmission of HDTV - high-definition television and also for accommodating more channels for broadcasting, there was a strong need of new standard. The second limitation of the DVB-C system is its hugely inferior performance with portability or mobility which restricted its usages in moving vehicles. To design a Digital Video Broadcasting - Cable System with MPEG-2 data as input. Analyze this system with different interleaving schemes (such as convolutional, block, random, helical and matrix interleaver), 64-QAM modulation and Reed-Solomon error detection and correction encoding for improving the efficiency of this system. A key technique for spectral optimization is Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). OFDM is a technique proposed for high-speed wireless LAN by the European Telecommunication Standards Institute and IEEE which is being considered for 4G mobile. OFDM technology is described for physical layer of proposed WirelessLAN standard whose data rate ranges from 6 to 54 Mbit/s depending on Quality of Service (QoS). It is designed to provide Wireless Local Loop (WLL) to core networks, e.g. Asynchronous Transfer Mode, GSM/UMTS or any IP-based multimedia network. Data rate, coding rate and modulation type are determined by the link adoption scheme automatically depending on the channel conditions. There are several ways to utilize the frequency band in a flexible way so that the available bandwidth is utilized to maximal efficiency. These access techniques uses a small portion of available energy with low power spectral density, high data transmission rates, less intercarrier interference and efficient use of bandwidth. The main cause of interference in OFDM system is channel fading, and all the errors are in transmission occurred due to effects of channel. One method that can be implemented to overcome this problem is by introducing channel coding. Channel encoding is applied by adding redundant bits to the transmitted data. The redundant bits increase raw data used in the link and therefore, increase the bandwidth requirement. So, if noise or fading occurred in the channel, some data may still be recovered at the receiver. While at the receiver, channel decoding is used to detect or correct errors that are introduced to the channel. To design an WLAN system with Rectangular QAM Baseband Modulator and OFDM as a multiple access technique. Then, analyze this system with to reduce the interference and improve the BER of system. Abstract: Friction Stir Welding (FSW) was invented by Wayne Thomas at TWI (The Welding Institute), and the first patent applications were filed in the UK in December 1991. Initially, the process was regarded as a "laboratory" curiosity, but it soon became clear that FSW offers numerous benefits in the fabrication of Aluminium products. Friction Stir Welding is a solid-state process, which means that the objects are joined without reaching the melting point. This joining technique is energy efficient, environment friendly, and versatile. Friction stir welding has been proven to be an effective process for welding aluminium, brass, copper, and other low-melting materials. In FSW parameters play an important role like tool design and material, tool rotational speed, welding speed, and axial force. In our project, we have used Aluminium material of 2025 and 7075 series with three different shaped tools and three different speeds, and three different feed rates. The reason we choose aluminium for welding is because of its corrosion resistance and strength. Its weight advantage can also be used in the transport industry such as building Ships. Welding of these two aluminium materials can result in drastic improvement in strength and corrosion resistance. They can be also used in cold temperature applications, such as cryogenics and liquid natural gas transportation. After welding, we sent the welded materials to go through some testing like Hardness Test, Tensile Test to check the properties like strength, ductility, resistance to corrosion, and others.

Abstract: Tunnel construction is a complex engineering task due to difficulties and logistics involved in boring and digging over the extended distances underground. However, thanks to advances in equipment technology, complex tunnelling projects are accomplished throughout the world. The tunnel boring machine (TBM), also known as mole, has made the construction of these tunnels possible, in hard or soft rock strata. Two major categories of TBM are used in the modern-day tunnelling process. TBM with full-face excavation and TBM for partial excavation. TBM with full-face excavation includes gripper and shield TBMs, and TBM for partial excavation includes enlarged TBM and unique machines for non-circular sections. To protect the TBM from fault zones, support systems like rock bolts, pipes, grout injection, and freezing are provided over or in front of the cutterhead. Roofing shield support system is useful during advancement in fractured rock. This roofing shield support system safeguards the crew members working behind the cutterhead from rock falls. Shield tunnelling is mainly useful in hard rock with moderate stand-up time and in fractured rock because the shield extends entirely over the complete machine from the cutterhead portion and provides safety to the entire structure.

Abstract: Aluminum alloys are promising for structural applications due to their high strength to weight ratio, resistance to corrosion and light weight,Light Weight. Aluminum is a very light metal with a specific weight of 2.7 g/cm3, about a third of that of steel . Aluminum alloy Matrix composites reinforced with particles like ceramic possess higher strenght and hardness , using aluminum 7075 as parent metal powder particles as reinforcement , most important benefit of 7075 aluminum is its high strength .FSP technique has been used for fabrication of surface composites. While it doesn't have the same level of corrosion resistance or weldability that other common alloys due, it's resistance to stress and strain makes it highly useful in aerospace applications where it allows for weight savings over steel, multi walled carbon nanotubes produced by the catalytic carbon vapour deposition (CVD) process, MWCNT improves the mechanical performance thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and permeation barrier properties of a range of composites and formulations. Processing parameters are have been set . FSP for AL 7075 is successfully done with reinforcement 3 percentage of MWCNT . The result workpiece is cut into tensile specimen according to ASTM standard using wire cut EDM.This result suggests that the friction stir processing is a useful method as microstructure refinement for the 7075-aluminum alloys. In this paper, the mechanical properties of the friction stir-processed materials at room and high temperatures are briefly discussed. The mechanical properties of the unprocessed materials are also compared with those of the processed materials

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8332
Abstract: Nowadays, there is increasing demand for operating properties of manufactured components but with reducing mass of a structure which triggered manufacturing technology to find a new fabrication methodology of surface layers that exhibit the indispensable functional properties. Friction stir processing (FSP) of surface layers is a new method which was developed by Welding Institute (TWI) in the year 1991 which is situated in Great Britain. The Friction Stir Processing technique is primarily employed for the restructuring of microstructure in layers close to the surface of processed metallic components and has a high future prospective in the field of superplasticity and metal matrix composites. Particularly, the procedure may result in: surface composite, high quality and smooth grained structure, modification of cast alloys at a microstructural level, alloying with specific elements, refinement of the quality of the welded joints. This review study focuses on the alloying process with the help of friction stir processing of aluminium as well as magnesium along with different reinforcements. The study consists of the outcomes of multiple reinforcement addition methods which affect the components in terms of mechanical and tribological properties. The results establish that the ultimate tensile strength, strain rate and wear and corrosion resistance are boosted by the incorporation of reinforcements.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2021.8334
Abstract: The aim of this review paper is to represent a general study on the finite element methods using ANSYS software. The various options involved in the ANSYS software are studied in detail. In general form the finite element method is a computational procedure used to resolve tensor states in three dimensional continua based upon the conditions at the boundary. The procedure provides approximate solutions for continua of any shape or configuration, some of which may be very difficult or impossible to solve in closed form. This facility is acquired by the fact that the procedure divides a continuum into smaller units, often many units, and the shape of the units are selected to be shapes for which solutions are either known or can be solved by approximate numerical methods. The elastic equations for each of the small units are assembled for simultaneous solution by matrix methods, thereby solving for the boundary conditions (displacements) of each small unit that are consistent with the conditions at the boundary of the continuum.

Abstract: The task manages the development and working of a vacuum siphon utilizing an unusually mounted rotor with edges sliding between outspread vanes in the rotor. This dry revolving vane vacuum siphon is a positive uprooting siphon with a hearty design because of its straightforward development. Dry revolving vane vacuum siphon isn't reasonable for each activity, so it has applications just in frameworks requiring medium or variable vacuum range. It replaces oil-fixed revolving vane vacuum siphon in businesses that require oil for pressure and viable warmth release. On account of self-greasing up cutting edges in dry revolving vane vacuum siphon because of which the pressure happens as a piece of a dry cycle So, there is no working liquid for dry rotating vane vacuum siphon. The effortlessness of the plan with a solitary shaft and direct drive produces a powerful and enduring vacuum siphon. Because of its base number of working segments, its support cost is exceptionally low. We can guarantee consistent vacuum in a siphon with consistency through entirely planned materials. Another principle part of this dry rotational vane vacuum siphon in correlation with the oil-fixed revolving vane vacuum siphon is it runs at the low commotion, so there is no need for any sort of sound sealing in this rendition of siphon. Its productivity can be expanded by the establishment of extras, for example, fast fans non - return stream valve at channel and development of balances on siphon surface, etc. We likewise have executed aluminum rotor, as aluminum is light in weight in correlation with any effectively accessible substances for manufacture and we immovably have confidence in lessening the heap on the engine side by utilizing aluminum rotors that have less weight thickness. Its applications are generally spread over in regions like pick and spot systems, packaging enterprises, print machines, natural ventures, etc. The plan of the framework is finished utilizing Solid works programming.

Abstract: Over the last decade, advances in electronics have made devices smaller, cheaperandfaster. Thisprojectisabouthowthespeedofafancanbecontrolled, basedontemperaturesensor.Itisalsoapartofsmarthomeapplicationwherethe fan will gradually increase its speed if the temperature is increasing. In general, home appliance fans need to be operated manually with the help of regulators with the variation of temperature, thus requires a repeatedly extra effort for regulatingthefanspeedwhichactstoouragony.Soastoreducethisextraeffort and to add comfort, it is intended in this paper designing an "Automatic Temperature Controlled Fan". In this project the main intension is to control the fan by heating the sensor, i.e. the thermistor, where the speed of the fan is dependent and controlled by any device's temperature like PC. As the temperature of the device increases or decreases, the speed of fan increases or decreases respectively. So it can be used mainly as a cooling device. By modifying the circuits lightly, it can also be used to control the room temperature, depending on the property of thermistor. The thermister used in the circuit here, decreases its resistance with increasing temperature, hence the electrical conductivity also increases, increasing voltage across it, resulting in an increment in the speed of the fan. Thus, it is possible to control the speed of the fan automaticallywhenthedevice'stemperaturevaries.Experimentcanbefollowed to evaluate whether this circuit can save energy through the use of temperature sensor and thus promote efficiency.

Abstract: A logical examination of the projecting cycle is of most extreme significance for the foundryman. Giving deformities such a role as hot tears are recognizable solely after the metal has been projected. Current foundry embraces reproduction to foresee the imperfections at the planning stage itself. Problem areas are the districts where the likelihood of the event of hot tears is most extreme. An endeavor had been made to investigate the boundaries that frame the Hot tears utilizing Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS 7.1) and Taguchi's Design of Experiments (DoE) procedures. The boundaries considered are pouring temperature, shape preheats temperature, filet sweep, chill thickness and chill distance. The recreation which remembers the work for heat move examination and stress investigation of the projecting was completed on an I-segment with chills at two distinct situations for discovering the pressure acting in the projecting during cementing. The rate commitment of every boundary over the development of hot tears is acquired. The main boundaries for hot tears development were discovered to be filet sweep, chill thickness, and pouring temperature. Sand projecting cycle is utilized to tentatively check the reproduction results. A three-dimensional investigation will affirm the specific calculation. For making a near report and examination, the hot tearing pressure and temperature during cementing of the Aluminum combination ought to be resolved during the hardening tentatively.
