DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.561
Abstract: This article shows the architecture of modern web-based based applications, which are a collection of website elements that perform certain programmed actions, and which are the core of the modular web-based P-CAD. Web-based applications are designed to operate on web servers and use web browsers as the user interface. Typically, web-based applications are developed as part of a "client-server" architecture. However, the server side can vary in terms of its architecture solutions, as this article demonstrates. In addition, we will also demonstrate an example of the architecture of a particular modular web-based p-cad.

Abstract: Steganography is process of hiding secret information behind any image and video file for the secure transmission of data. Image steganography is used for hiding information in the form of text and images. But due to lack of security reason and early detection of hiding information video steganography has been come into utilization. Video steganography comprises various frames in a single video file from which prediction of secret data availability is not come so easy process. In video steganography various frames has been extracted from a video file and secret information has to be embedded in these frames for transmission of video file.

Abstract: The fundamental purpose of monitoring electronics appliances in the modern world by using Internet of Things (IoT) is to control them based on situational demands. With the advancement of technology, the need for efficient controlling is more as it optimizes performance and saves unnecessary wastage of power. The basic home appliances are fan, light and water pump which consume maximum power.Unnecessary wastage of power and resources by turning on lightsduring daytimeor high speed fans in winter season or water pump during overflow of water from tank can be avoided in this way. A system has been proposed to control home appliances anytime from anywhere in the world and efficiently utilize power by controlling appliances properly.Blynk app has been used to read data from sensors located in home environment and user controls home appliances based on these data. Being busy in hectic schedule of daily life user may not be able to read sensor data continuously to take some action through app. So the designed system sends an emergency notification in user's mobile app.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.565
Abstract: VANET is the field of communication that has been used for ITS. In this vehicles have been used for auto driven system. VANET communication is based on various routing protocols that have been used for end to end communication. On the basis of these routing protocols path for data transmission has been established. Data in VANET must be transmitted in particular interval of time so that better performance can be achieved through VANET. In this paper a novel approach has been developed that is cooperative with multipath routing protocol so that better establishment can be done. In this process spectrum sensing has been used for sensing of idle channels from radio band. In this process of multipath routing packet loss has been measured and that is compared with threshold value. On the basis of threshold value a decision has been developed to utilize spectrum sensing. Proposed approaches provide better results as compare to existing approaches.

Abstract: Security and safety are two intertwined terms. It is a common belief that when a place or system is secure, it is safe. Security has becoming an important issue everywhere. Home security is becoming necessary nowadays as the possibilities of intrusion are increasing day by day. Safety from theft is the most important requirements of home security system for people. Home security system gives an extra peace of mind and security in everybody's house while they are sleeping or even away from their home. From the moment the system is armed it will automatically keep everybody up-to-date for unexpected movements within his/her property. A traditional home security has been protected still, where people were using their animals to need protected. But the evolution of technology has allowed the use of electrical circuits and micro-controllers which made the system even more accurate and systems for every need. Furthermore, the GSM based security system provides enhanced security when a signal from sensor comes, SMS/text message is sent to the owner to take necessary action to avoid risk. However, expenditure evolution of the internet and smart phones allowed the home security systems to be controlled remotely at any time, which previously the only way to control them was through the central control panel embedded on the system. This project examines the process of the production of a conceptual home security system for a client, which can secure and monitor a desired room. Also, this project has been involved research of the home security systems, which currently on the market as-well as the hardware and software will be used, that lead into the project's requirements determination. The main aim of this project is to find alternative ways to design and develop a low-cost system which will be easy to configure and expendable in the future. The development of the system has been started with requirement analysis and ended with the testing of the system, and then it is documented. The entire project is then evaluated and concluded, discussing possibilities of future development.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.567
Abstract: The process of tracking an object on the Earth's surface has been a much needed demand since the development of satellites. With the advent of GPS it has became an easier process. The combination of GPS, GSM and Arduino can be effectively utilised to aid in efficient tracking of an object. The location coordinates of the object such as latitude and longitude are sent to a preset mobile number in SMS format. A simple click will redirect to Google maps and yield the exact location. Continuous position information of an object for a particular interval of time gives the trajectory of the object over time. Thus, the particular object of interest can be tracked.

EARLY DETECTION OF BUFFALO SPERM APOPTOSIS AT VARIOUS STAGES OF CRYOPRESERVATION

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.568
Abstract: The cryopreservation technique adversely affects the metabolism, motility and membrane integrity of the spermatozoa, thereby decreasing the fertility potential of the processed semen sample. In current study, we investigated the effect of cryopreservation on buffalo sperm apoptosis at five different stages of cryopreservation. We employed a combination of fluorescence-based microscopic as well as flow cytometric assays and assessed the quality of spermatozoa undergoing apoptosis. Semen ejaculates from Murrah buffalo bulls were collected and cryopreserved using standard protocol. Annexin-V/Propidium Iodide (AN/PI) assay was used to detect the externalization of phosphatidylserine (PS) across the plasma membrane of buffalo spermatozoa, a marker to monitor the early apoptosis. Four different sperm subpopulations were identified: viable, early apoptotic, late apoptotic, and necrotic spermatozoa. Cooling at 4 °C and freeze-thawing significantly decreased the motility percent, plasma membrane integrity (P<0.01), the percentage of viable spermatozoa (P < 0.001), and dramatically increased the percentage of late apoptotic spermatozoa (P < 0.01), but not of early apoptotic spermatozoa and necrotic spermatozoa. Moreover, frozen thawed semen showed an increase in PS translocation index (P < 0.05) as compared to that of fresh semen. Several new classes of AN+ sperms were identified where Annexin-V stained the buffalo spermatozoa in head, midpiece and tail. Our results suggests that cooling and freeze-thawing steps during cryo-preservation result in apoptosis in buffalo spermatozoa, which might be responsible for the decreased fertilizing potential of cryopreserved spermatozoa. Efforts are therefore required to minimize cryodamage and maximize the fertility of cryopreserved buffalo spermatozoa by using various cryoprotectants.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.569
Abstract: The rate of deforestation and forest degradation has risen rapidly in Kenya leading to emergence of small scale and medium scale enterprises on charcoal briquetting technology for biocharcoal making for household use. However, there is lack of information on costs and benefits of making charcoal briquettes using low cost motorized screw press. This study focuses on cost benefit analysis of charcoal briquette making using locally designed and fabricated screw press machine. The parameters used to assess economic viability of making charcoal briquettes as a business are Total Investment Required, Cost of Production, Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). It was found that the economic viability of briquetting technology is dependent on the type of equipment used for drying and processing materials, the type of biomass used and their physico-chemical and thermal properties and the skills of human resource both at technical and business level as well as investment capital.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.5610
Abstract: Given the phenomenal abundance in quantity of news available over the electronic medium, extraction of consolidated information from raw data has become important. Extraction of relevant textual content from E-News portals has become increasingly challenging due to CMSs and the dynamic nature of web pages. In this paper, a technique that provides condensed news information based on user preferences is presented. Information retrieval from the articles is based on TF-IDF, augmented by a novel transitive closure algorithm that adds context to the search. The impact of techniques like article tagging and coreference resolution on the retrieval of semantically and contextually related content is studied. The proposed system improves search latency through the separation of text processing and information extraction processes. Once information is extracted, summarized content based on user queries from different source portals is presented. The system achieves high precision and recall for both generic and domain-specific user queries.

Abstract: In this article we present a steganographic system that permits the sending, reception and recuperation of secret data hidden in the TCP/IP packet header fields that are often unused or that exhibit some intrinsic redundancy to said protocols. The Mukul (meaning secret or hidden in the Mayan language) steganographic system is developed using freeware: the Libpcap and Libnet function libraries for programming the routines in C, and the Q library for the graphic interface. We also present the protocol implemented for the testing of the system and the obtained results.

"COMPARISION AND ANALYSIS OF REGULAR AND IRREGULAR CONFIGURATION OF MULTISTOREY BUILDING IN VARIOUS SEISMIC ZONES AND VARIOUS TYPE OF SOIL"

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.5612
Abstract: Multistory RC Structure subjected to most dangerous earthquakes. It was found that main reason for failure of RC building is irregular distributions of mass, stiffness and strength or due to irregular geometrical configurations. In reality, many existing buildings contain irregularity due to functional and aesthetic requirements. However, past earthquake records show the poor seismic performance of this structure. This is due to ignorance of the irregularity aspect in formulating the seismic design methodologies by the seismic codes (IS 1893:2002, UBC 1997, NBCC 2005 etc.). The review of seismic design codes and reported research studies show that the irregularity has been quantified in terms of magnitude ignoring the effect of location of irregularity. The principle objective of this project is to study the structural behavior of multistory RC Structure for different plan configuration such as rectangular building along with L- shape and C- shape and H-shape in accordance with the seismic provisions suggested in IS: 1893-2002 using STAAD Pro V8i. The analysis involves load calculation and analyzing the whole structure on the STAAD Pro V8i version for dynamic analysis i.e. Response Spectrum Analysis & Time History Analysis confirming to Indian Standard Code of Practice. For time history analysis past earthquake ground motion record is taken to study response of all the structures. These analyses are carried out by considering different seismic zones (II, III, IV and V) and for each zone the behavior is assessed by taking hard, medium and soft soil. Post analysis of the structure, different response like maximum storey displacement, maximum storey drift, storey shear and maximum overturning moment are plotted in order to compare the results of the linear and non-linear dynamic analysis.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.5614
Abstract: Image Fusion is the process in which core information from a set of component images is merged to form a single image, which is more informative and complete than the component input images in quality and appearance. This research presents a fast and effective image fusion method for creating high quality fused images by merging component images. In the proposed method, the input image is broken down to a two-scale image representation with a base layer having large scale variations in intensity, and a detail layer containing small scale details. Here fusion of the base and detail layers is implemented by means of a Local Edge preserving filtering based technique. The proposed method is an efficient image fusion technique in which the noise component is very low and quality of the resultant image is high so that it can be used for applications like medical image processing, requiring very accurate edge preserved images. Performance is tested by calculating PSNR, entropy, MSE and SSIM of images. The benefit of the proposed method is that it removes noise without altering the underlying structures of the image. Experimental results showed that the when PSNR value is calculated, the noise ratio is found to be very low for the resultant image portion. All the simulations have been carried out in MATLAB simulator tool.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2018.5616
Abstract: Cost of the product along with the quality of the product is of prime importance sustaining in the market among the consumer. Product cost comprises of several component in which one of the components is manufacturing cost. There are several components in the manufacturing cost and tool cost one of them. A tool will have some initial cost which is fixed but effect of tool cost on over all machining cost depends on tool life. Longer the tool life lesser the impact of tool cost on overall machining cost, and hence lesser the product cost. There are several parameters affects tool life which are not going to be considered here. In the present work effect of coolant temperature is considered on tool life. Coolant is supplied at different temperature while machining for a fixed period of time and keeping all other machining parameters fixed every time corresponds to different temperature. The study shows the lower the coolant temperature higher the tool life.
