Study on the relationship between adsorption amounts and unit isosteric adsorption enthalpy
Zhen Wang, Dong Li*, Xuemei Zhang, Qinghua Ma, Jingyuan Hao
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10201
Abstract: The isothermal adsorption data of a lean coal has been used to regress the parameters of a temperature-pressure-adsorption equation with acceptable accuracy. The lnP vs 1/T plotting of lean coal under 15 cm3/g isosteric adsorption indicates that the adsorption is an exothermic process, the desorption is an endothermic process. Both the unit isosteric adsorption enthalpy (UIAE) and the unit isosteric desorption enthalpy (UIDE) have been calculated for different capacities and show that both UIAE and UIDE decrease with the increase of capacity.

Determination of a Semi-Empiric Formula to Estimate Reference Evapotranspiration at the Puno Weather Station, Perú
Eduardo Luis Flores-Quispe, Eduardo Flores-Condori, Mayda Yanira Flores-Quispe, Roberto Alfaro-Alejo
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10206
Abstract: The objective of the investigation was to determine a semi-empirical formula that relates the reference evapotranspiration with the vapor pressure deficit, wind speed, temperature range and extraterrestrial radiation using data from the Puno meteorological station. Multiple linear regression was applied in the calibration and then the formula was validated by comparing its results with the class A tank method, Penman-Monteith, Hargreaves, and Serruto. The multiple linear regression coefficients are statistically significant (p<0.05), a correlation coefficient of 84% and determination of 71% was determined. The formula has a physical basis because the terms wind speed and vapor pressure deficit represent the aerodynamic factor; the temperature and extraterrestrial radiation terms include the energy balance factor. The formula better estimates the reference evapotranspiration than the methods with which it was compared and has a lower mean square error with respect to values obtained with a class A tank. The variation of values obtained with the formula is statistically equal to the variation obtained with a class A tank The formula slightly overestimates the mean because the reference evapotranspiration values in the calibration are higher than those in the validation.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10209
Abstract: Customer acquisition and retention is a key concern for several industries and is particularly acute in fiercely competitive and fast-growth businesses. Retaining a loyal customer is far more important than acquiring a new one, thus making customer churn one of the critical concerns for big corporations. Finding factors triggering customer churn is vital to implement necessary remediation to pre-empt and cut back this churn. This research focuses on implementing machine learning (ML) algorithms to identify potential churn customers, categorize them based on usage patterns, and visualize the analysis results. Results show that Decision Tree Classifier, Random Forest Algorithm, and Support Vector Machine have the best churn modeling performance, particularly for 80:20 dataset distribution with average AUC scores of 0.843, 0.787 and 0.735 respectively and low false negatives. The research demonstrates that ML algorithms can successfully predict potential customer churn and help in devising customer retention programmers.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10211
Abstract: Bird sounds recognition is of great significance in bird protection. With appropriate sound classification, research can automatically predict the quality of life in the area. Nowadays, the deep learning model is used to classify bird sound data with high classification accuracy. However, the generalization ability of most existing bird sound recognition models is poor, and the complicated algorithm is applied to extract bird sound features. To address these problems, a large data set containing 264 kinds of birds is constructed in this paper to enhance the generalization ability of the model, and then a lightweight bird sound recognition model is proposed to build a lightweight feature extraction and recognition network with MobileNetV3 as the backbone. By adjusting the depthwise separable convolution in the model, the recognition ability of the model is improved. A multi-scale feature fusion structure is designed, and the Pyramid Split Attention (PSA) module is added to the multi-scale feature fusion structure to improve the adaptability of the network to scale extraction of spatial information and channel information. To improve the refinement ability of the model towards the global information, the channel attention mechanism and ordinary convolution are introduced into Bneck module which makes the Bneck module become the Bnecks module. The experimental results show that the accuracy of Top-1 and Top-5 of the model in identifying 264 kinds of birds on the self-built data set is 95.12% and 100%, which are higher than that of MobileNetV1, MobileNetV2, MobileNetV3 respectively. Although the accuracy is lower than ResNet50, the number of parameters and floating-point operations (FLOPs) of the model is only 2.6M and 127M respectively. The accuracy is only reduced by 2.25% while saving costs.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10214
Abstract: One of the main reasons for auto accidents across the world is potholes. It is believed that poor road conditions, of which potholes account for a sizable portion, are to blame for around one-third of all traffic accidents. Traffic jams and accidents are often caused by bad road conditions. You risk losing control of your vehicle if the pothole is really bad or if your vehicle isn't designed to withstand the impact. This frequently results in vehicle accidents, which cause needless deaths. When riding over potholes, motorcycle riders are particularly vulnerable to harm. A bike only has two wheels on the ground, and although being lighter than a car, a motorbike cannot cope up with potholes in the road. The prototype described in this article locates potholes on the road and updates them in the cloud. This method aids in keeping the road in good condition. Additionally, ultrasonic sensors are used to independently measure the depth of the road to find and identify potholes. The suggested architecture additionally makes advantage of IoT to store in the cloud the geographical location of found potholes. For management experts, this data is a valuable resource.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10215
Abstract: Laterites comprising the Swarnagadde plateau of Western Ghats on the south-western margin of peninsular gneissic complex. Laterites generally cap the granitic-gneiss and found plateau and coastal plains of the study area. A thick residual laterite-cappings have been formed during the Tertiary period due to intense and prolonged tropical weathering is the only major geological event of the area. Laterites are the products of intense sub aerial weathering in which Fe and / or Al content is higher and Si content is lower than in merely Kaolinised parent rocks. XRD analyses for identification of different mineral phases taken up and gibbsite, boehmite, kaolinite, goethite, anatase, hematite and other minerals have been identified in most of the laterite and altered rock samples, comprehensive peak data is presented in tables. Gibbsite and anatase show a gradual increase from reddish brown phase to white phase. Goethite and hematite show a decreasing trend from reddish brown to white phases of laterites. Kaolinite remains more or less uniform in all the phases except the clay zone in which it decreases. It increases slightly in laterites and becomes predominant in this saprolite horizon.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10216
Abstract: Safety is a major concern in our lives today. Whether within an organization or in a restricted area; With the growing need for security measures in everyday life, biometrics has become a hot topic of research targeting its potential value in personal identification. This is because biometric systems are classified as more secure than other security systems. This paper focuses on iris and fingerprint as one of the best biometric features for identity management. Iris recognition possesses properties that make it a quintessential biometric system. The point of this venture is to distinguish an individual without a blunder, burning through less time, and keep away from mistakes in confined regions. The recognition of Iris for dealing with Indian weapons is the most powerful innovation related to the security of our country. The method used for fingerprint authentication divides the identification into stages and eliminates many fake fingerprints at different stages. This saves a lot of time by maintaining a high recognition rate. Although Minutiae-based technology is widely used, it is difficult to extract features if the fingerprint image quality is poor. This paper aims to understand how the characteristics of fingerprints can be inferred. Significant advances in this field show that iris and fingerprint biometrics still require fast, real-time, reliable, and powerful algorithms for higher recognition.

A TWO-STAGE CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORK FOR LUNG NODULE DETECTION
Prof. Somasekhar T, KavyaShree S L, Priyanka R, Ranjitha D V, Thriveni U
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10218
Abstract: A malignant tumor with quick development and early metastatic dissemination is known as small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). Improved survival depends on early and accurate SCLC diagnosis. Accurate cancer segmentation helps medical professionals better comprehend the location and scope of cancers and make more accurate diagnoses. The YOLO framework is being utilized in this effort to both locate and categorize a lung tumor that is connected to the edge of blood vessels. The R-CNN methods presented in Part 1 mainly employ regions to localise objects within images. The network only looks at the areas ofthe image that are most likely to contain an item, not the complete picture. The biggest benefit of employing YOLO is how quick and precise it is.

Degree of Lateritisation and Quantifying Weathering Intensity of Laterites from Swarnagadde Plateau, Karnataka.
Rajendrakumar Y. Budihal*, A. Sreenivasa
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10219
Abstract: Chemical weathering of rocks is one of the major processes which modify the Earth's surface and is one of the major processes in the geochemical cycling of elements. Laterites are the product of intensive and long lasting tropical rock weathering which is intensified by the high rainfall and elevated temperatures, initially product of weathering are essentially Kaolinised saprolite. Weathering is a combination of processes caused by mechanical, chemical and biological disintegration of a rock upon its interaction with the atmosphere. Significantly, the scheme recognises the importance of the nature of the protolith upon the composition of the weathering product; it also requires that the weathering products are entirely the result of in situ alteration processes. Using a SiO2-Al2O3-Fe2O3 ternary diagram, four stages of alteration are recognised in the lateritisation process: (a) kaolinitisation, (b) weak lateritisation, (c) moderate lateritisation, and (d) strong lateritisation. The behaviour of major and minor elements during the development of laterites have been suitably summarised and relates the leaching and retention of a range of elements to mineral transformations in the principal horizons of the weathering profile.

Abstract: Due to the widespread use of the Internet, integration services have steadily transformed how people live their daily lives, including how they conduct business online, travel, and other things. One of the most well- liked forms of online commerce is the E-auction, which enables bidders to place direct bids on things. Regarding sealed bids, an additional transaction fee is necessary for the middlemen because they play a crucial role in facilitating trade between the buyers and sellers throughout the auction. Furthermore, it never guarantees the dependability of the third party. In order to resolve the concerns, we propose leveraging blockchain technology, which has low transaction costs, to develop smart contracts for open and sealed bids. The smart contract, first conceived in 1990 and implemented via the Ethereum system, may guarantee the bill is secure, private, unreliable, and unalterable because all transactions are recorded in the same but decentralized ledgers. The smart contract contains the following information: the address of the auctioneer, the start and end times of theauction, the deadline, the location of the current winner, and the most recent price

Brain tumors come in a wide range of sizes, shapes, and intensities. It's possible for tumors from different pathological classifications to look similar. Brain tumors can be classified and diagnosed using a variety of imaging methods. Fortunately, due to its superior image quality and lack of ionizing radiation, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is frequently used. Recent developments in deep learning have made it possible for radiologists to quickly analyse medical images using artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. In order to classify various types of brain tumors, CNN models can assist physicians and radiologists in validating their initial screening.

Abstract: In this project we propose a stress recognition algorithm using face images and Expressions. We proposed an algorithm that can recognize stress from images acquired with a general camera. We also Designed a CNN that receives facial landmarks as input to take advantage of the fact that eye, mouth, and head movements are different from normal situations when a person is stressed. Stress is a natural reaction to various stress inducing factors which can lead to physiological and behavioral changes. If persists for a longer period, stress can cause harmful effects on our body. The body sensors along with the concept of the Internet of Things can provide rich information about one's mental and physical health.

Abstract: The rapid climb of online travel information imposes an increasing challenge for tourists who need to choose between an outsized numbers of travel packages to satisfy their personalized requirements. On the opposite side, to urge more business and profit, the travel companies need to understand these preferences from different tourists and serve more attractive packages. Therefore, the demand for intelligent travel services, from both tourists and travel companies, is predicted to extend dramatically. Since recommender systems are successfully applied to reinforce the standard of service for patrons during a number of fields its natural direction to develop recommender systems for personalized travel package recommendation. Our approach isn't only personalized to user's travel interest but also ready to recommend a travel sequence instead of individual Points of Interest (POIs). Topical package space including representative tags, the distributions of cost, visiting time and visiting season of every topic, is mined to bridge the vocabulary gap between user travel preference and travel routes. We map both user's and routes' textual descriptions to the topical package space to urge user topical package model and route topical package model (i.e., topical interest, cost, time and season).

Abstract: Present study demonstrates the growth of bacterial blight research publications indexed in the Web of Science for the period 1997 to 2021 (25 years). Found that total 4418 research publications with a steady growth of publications for entire study period from 1.36% (60) to 9.10% (402) publications. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) decreased from 0.74 in the year 1997 to 0.09 in the year 2020 with average Relative Growth Rate of 0.18. The Doubling Time (Dt.) of publications increased over period from 0.80 in the year 1989 to 8.31. The distribution for global literature is positively skewed for all the block periods except 2002-2006. Growth of bacterial blight literature best fits in polynomial or order 2 curves with R2 value is 0.977.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10225
Abstract: A petrographic analysis of Archaean greywackes from the Northern part of Dharwar region Dharwar Supegroup indicates that much of the matrix are distinctly immature rocks wit poorly-sorted angular to sub-angular grains, comprising largely quartz, feldspar and lithic fragments. They are characterised by 37.26% quartz, 8.81% feldspar, 38.61% rock fragments, 3.45% carbonates and others 1.88% average of fifteen samples. Detrital quartz, feldspar and rock fragments are observed to contribute the matrix, feldspar and rock fragments principally sericitisation. The coarse grain greywacke shows decreasing in matrix content through the succession corresponding to an increase in detrital quartz, feldspar and rock fragments content. In the investigated area phyllites, metavolcanics and bif's are also studied. More importantly puckering structures is commonly noticed in phyllites of the region.

Abstract: According to one of the survey report,70% of India's population depends on the agricultural sector. A wide variety of diseases and various types of pests affect crop production, resulting in loss of quality and quantity of the yield. In current scenario farmers are opting for the option of pesticides to get rid of the pest, but the pesticides are ruining the soil quality level and effecting our environment. For this problem faced by many farmers across states the key solution is to detect the pests as early as possible and cut down the use of pesticides over vast areas and concentrate on particular areas where pest is been detected and destroy them as early as possible. Hence this paper gives a solution of such problem that is "Computer vision application in agriculture for pest control".

Abstract: Agriculture is the backbone of our country and improving the agricultural growing demands of plants and vegetables with smart technology is the dire need of the hour. The agricultural lands have to be properly maintained with the basic necessary nutrient values in the soil. The soil have to be maintained with suitable conditions and appropriate parameters for the vegetation requirement. The integral parameters for the growth of vegetation are proper Temperature, Humidity, Light and water. The Automated Plant Communicator System Using IOT Technology is a framework which helps in sending notifications in the form of alerts to the mobile phones or electronic gadgets connected through Bluetooth Technology. The notifications are the key real time values received from the plants to analyse the moisture level of the Soil, Temperature and Light Intensity (applied for indoor plants). These indicators helps us to know the vegetation condition in one click.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2023.10228
Abstract: The use of Non-Fungible-Token (NFT) in online market has the potential to address a number of challenges in the field sales and purchase of products online. There are a number of problems associated with buying any product, but luxury or high-end purchases pose additional concerns regarding authenticity. Digital warranties enable customers have greater peace of mind when purchasing luxury items. Additionally, it can offer information about the item's history of purchases, its warranty, and other details. When a customer makes a transaction using our application, the NFT are sent to their account. Asset tokenization, which entails the creation of NFTs that stand in for trading assets, can be a successful strategy to combat fake goods. Digital warranties aid luxury brands in thwarting fakes. Consumers will be able to choose authentic products if these solutions become commonplace in the business and make it clear that products without a guarantee as an NFT are probably not real. On request from a few merchants, assurances will be given to franchises of luxury brands. Additionally, it offers retailers with certified imports from other nations without the express consent of the brand. Luxury brands can organize a consortium in the meanwhile to embrace digital warranty solutions and deal with the industry's counterfeiting problems. This solution is yet to gain momentum among the wider blockchain community, so the challenges persist and remain to be addressed effectively in lieu of the massive potential of the NFTs, the marketplace for which is growing rapidly.
